DOVER BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT UPDATE Project # NH‐BR‐5121(031)

The bike path remains closed until the completion of the project. Bicyclists and pedestrians should refrain from entering the construction zone. PLEASE THINK SAFETY!!!!!

Contractor, Sletten Construction, has completed pouring the expansion joints and parapets and are now in the curing stage. They are currently completing some project cleaning tasks before shutdown.

The subcontractor, M.A. DeAtley, is finishing to haul rock cap this week for the season. Rock crushing will continue in preparation for spring work.

The specialty subcontractor to Sletten, Janod (aka The Rock Stars), is continuing the work on the rock face which includes scaling and debris removal, tree removal, rock bolts and horizontal drains. Mesh Anchors, mesh installation and cable net installation. Janod will continue with the bolt work for a few more weeks.

The contractor hosts community coordination meetings on the 1st Wednesday of each month in Dover at the City Hall. The next scheduled informational meeting will be held Wednesday December 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM.
