Sewer

Pat Reidt is the new wastewater operator for the City of Dover. He arrived April 1st and has started training. He is a class III wastewater operator and brings with him much experience and knowledge. WELCOME, PAT
The City of Dover’s Wastewater Treatment Facility average flow for the month of March was approximately 110,000 gallons per day. The monthly testing has shown that the plant is operating within EPA discharge permit standards. We are excited to soon be able to provide additional hookups and the possibility of future expansion to outlying areas of our city.

The conversion from Sequencing Batch Reaction to the Zenon Membrane System facility is complete. For more information about the conversion, successes and stumbling blocks please contact our engineer Rob Tate.

In non sewered areas within the city, wastewater treatment is provided through individual septic systems as approved by the Panhandle Public Health District.
